Colored pencils on black drawing paper

A drawing inspired by the weekly art group. I've been trying to become more comfortable with colored pencils as a medium. I enjoyed experimenting with the different textures, colors, and temperatures from the reference photo as well as using a little "artist license" on some parts.

This is a beautiful drawing, Laura. Colors placed on black always resonate with vibrancy and this is so clean and nice! The composition works well and the touch of weathered wood gives the bouquet a sense of place.
